- VISA: A visa is required for entry to Ghana for all American citizens. It is YOUR responsibility to obtain a visa for entrance into Ghana. Visa costs are NOT INCLUDED! The Ghanian government can change visa requirements at any time. You may elect to use a travel documents service to make sure everything is prepared for your trip.
